Grace
by Julia Polin
It’s not just about flowing through a room
Or some amazing ballet moves
There’s something classy about it too like
When someone is rude and you decide to be polite
They are not right just because you shine bright
There is a warming that occurs
Like a kitten who purrs
We gently let it be known
That grace needs to be shown
Your going to need endless empathy
You become like a canopy
Light Protection from elements so harsh
Quenching the thirst inside others hearts
Without a commanding for anything in return
Not even demanding to be heard
A breeze of an action
That breathes out satisfaction
Or at least a smaller reaction
Knowing the time and place
Deciding to Create a space
to Listen and communicate
Indulging in sweet mercy
Patiently avoiding getting lost
in blinded bitterness and the
confusing chaos
Grace can be powerful and soft
Making miraculous moves
While it peacefully soothes
