Chloe was a full term healthy baby. Her double- dimple smile and welcoming "hi!" were her trademarks at 6 months! At 7 months, she was shaken and brought to the ER nearly dead. After three weeks in NICU, she was alive but changed. She couldn't swallow without aspiration so she had a Gastronomy tube, later upped to a Jejunum/Gastronomy tube for her liquid diet. She has a seizure condition with multiple daily seizures, even with a Ketogenic formula and several medications.. She has moderate hearing loss in both ears. She has Cortical Vision Impairment. She has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and cannot sit unsupported and is wheelchair bound. She has severe scoliosis and wears an external body brace, as well as AFO's on her calf and feet. She has nighttime apnea and receives oxygen while sleeping with her CPAP machine. She does regular lung support therapies with a nebulizer, chest oscillator and cough assist.  She has regular consults with neurology, dieticians, orthopedic, pulmonary, sleep specialists, audiology, opthalomolgy.  She gets regular PT, OT and speech therapy and is learning AAC with her eye-gaze communicator.
