Our Story

Parenting a medically fragile child is a 24/7 job. Every day is never-ending, with unique nurse level care needs, doctor and therapy appointments, paperwork and charting for  insurance, state and federal support and caregiving team , prescription management, storing supplies and maintaining specialized equipment, increased transportation needs all on top of the day to day of family life, meals, laundry, marriage, brother and sisters, friends and family

Chloe's Story

Chloe was a full term healthy baby. Her double- dimple smile and welcoming "hi!" were her trademarks at 6 months! At 7 months, she was shaken and brought to the ER nearly dead. After three weeks in NICU, she was alive but changed. It had changed almost every part of her body-movement, spinal curvature, vision, hearing, swallowing, speaking, even breathing is affected.  Read more…..

In spite of all of that, she is the same double-dimpled cheerful people-loving child. She loves her platform swing, riding in the wheelchair van, and camping outdoors, especially by the campfire. She lights up with music, outdoor walks, singing birds, stories and gentle giggly roughhousing.

Chloe's Hopes

Chloe hopes to be able to communicate more easily and be loved and accepted.

Chloe's Dreams

Chloe wants a future where she has lots of wonderful life experiences in spite of her limitations.

Making it Happen

Chloe's family needs daily and monthly transportation, solid 24 hour trained caregiving team, respite and breathing space to live their lives, too.
